Recently I looked up a list of science words that have -ology at the end. I found a long but complete list. Just click the link, I put it up on my website. [link]
Check it out, it's pretty cool. If you want to know the original source, check this link: [link]
Today I woke up at 7:15, no wait, I mean 5:15! It is two hours behind over here! I end up waking and sleeping earlier than the other residents here. I had been dreaming that Sunny Jessie was doing a bunch of gymnastics and Fiery Caroline was like, whoa, how can my sis do that! It was fun. But then I woke up suddenly, feeling cold. My aunt had taken the blanket from me! I pulled the blanket back to my side, and, ahhhh. That was much better. And she was like, "No wonder I was feeling hot!"
I did my science homework this time. I might as well do Omnibus as well, but I just need to get my heavy textbook from the luggage. Well, whatever. Too lazy to do that now. My aunt is upstairs doing who knows what. She said that she will take me to Mickey D's later, and then go to the hospital to see my grandma (who got an MRI yesterday).
I had brought with me the most faithful of the faithful companions that I have: Bunny. You remember her, right? I put her picture on the homepage. In fact, stop reading this and go there right now. Just so you remember. Come back once you're done. See ya in thirty seconds!
Okay, did you see that? I still have Bunny! For eight years she has been faithful, loving, and always there. She never gave up on me and I will never give up on her. And I will keep her no matter what some donation place says. But who knows if my future kids will have Bunny as their own, I could give them all to them and they will have their on companions too.
Today I went to the IOWA Testing. It was so so so so so so so so so so so...
And you know why? A lot of my friends came too! The test was on stuff like vocabulary, reading, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, usage and expression, science, maps and diagrams, and reference materials. Easy peesy, until tomorrow.
Tomorrow is worse. I have to do math and social studies. That is so not awesome, except that during out breaks I will get to hang out with my BFF's again.
I know that most people have to do their homework by Friday, but I have to do mine by today. Because tomorrow is IOWA Testing, and I will have no time for homework because I have ballet after that. So, better hurry!
I'm going to think up another code to give to Gusty Ginny, because I'm still trying to decode the last one.
Guess what? Yesterday was my science fair! I was too tired when I got home (it was about 8 p.m. when I dragged my poster into the computer) so I couldn't write this blog post right away.
I had set up my poster board and my marble run out on the table. I waited for the judges to come... Then they came! I began presenting my project: "Marbles and marble runs are toys that kids like to play with. Everyone knows..."
The judges looked very happy. They tooks some notes while hope arose in me.
After that I went to check out the other posters. There was a poster about penny batteries, exploding CO2, a brownie survey, and more cool stuff. In the back of the gym I saw a guy presenting real human organs. There was a heart, some lungs, and two brains. (Yes, I really said that.) My cousin just loved that. He touched each and every one of those organs. But everyone else was probably saying, "Eew!"
The competition was divided by grade levels. So there was a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each level. If there were four grade levels competing (5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade) there would be four 1st places, four 2nd places, and four 3rd places.
After a cool presentation on the gym stage about the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, my science teachers announced the Awards Ceremony.
I will win, no I won't, if I don't win, she should win, I should win, no I won't, yes I will, nope, yeah, nope yeah...
"The Science Fair was sponsored by [blahblahblah]." I forgot the names of the places, but I did hear that a smoothie shop was one of those sponsors. "It was also sponsored by..." Oh just skip that part, I wanna hear the winners!
"We will start with 5th grade." I will so not win this, but I will! "Third place is Rachel Ng."
I won't say who else won because I want to protect their privacy, but I sure was happy with the prizes. I got $5 in cash, a certificate, a coupon for a smoothie shop (the one who sponsored us!), and some candies. Wait a minute, I have to do my homework! See ya and bye! (I will add to my science fair page later.)
Don;t you know how much I love the science fair? it is totally fun! I can't practice my presentation though, because my board is at school. But I shouldn't forget to bring the set-up!
I'm going to draw some more pictures on my drawing tablet. Be right back!
The Seventh Force 2! It's like those pictures you see on the cover of a disc of a movie. Well, this probably won't be the actual picture because this was just a draft. (But you and I think it looks too good to be a draft, right?)
Okay, that was random. That's because I have to do even more math today, just to study for the IOWA Test. It's like SAT, but we call it IOWA Test because it was written by BJU Press, and we have to do it for 2 days.
Though I am good at math, it's one of my weak subjects because "I'm careless". I take the 6th grade math book. And it's EASY. Nothing really hard. Except that I'd rather do my science project. Wait! I do have to do my science project because my board is due on Monday! I better work on it now! Okay, gotta go!
Wait a minute! How did this end up here? Was this my randomness? I guess so.
I'm a homeschooling kid who likes science and nature, particularly birds. I would like to be an artist or scientist (or maybe a fiction writer?) when I grow up.
Don't comment any spams or something or I will delete it.
